Cakes, Costumes and Clothes....

CAKES!!!!
No dig site would be complete without a person eating Dimetrodon (they were cannibals after all)  Note the tarp and fossil being jacketed.
3rd Birthday - Wilton Cake Pan

Plastic prehistoric animals can be added to any cake!

Note:  The Dimetrodon is eating the Xenacanth

8th birthday with neighbors and friends.
We also went outside on a "dig"

I am smiling so much because this was my 10th birthday and we celebrated it
AT the Houston Museum of Natural Science!!

Girl Scouts Honored by Emerald Circle

I am in the back, 5th from the left.

I am so pleased that The Emerald Circle liked my Gold Award Project that they awarded me a scholarship.  Even more meaningful is that I was selected to be one of the first five to be named a Goodykuntz Scholar.  The name is meant to honor Emerald Circle founder and past president Dorothy Goodykuntz, a long time GSSJC (Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council) supporter and volunteer.  We were recognized for our dedication to the Girl Scout Promise and our outstanding Gold Award Projects.

I would like to thank the Emerald Circle very much for selecting me as a Goodykuntz Scholar!!

Vera Briggs, my Girl Scout Leader
