CAKES!!!! No dig site would be complete without a person eating Dimetrodon (they were cannibals after all)  Note the tarp and fossil being jacketed. 3rd Birthday - Wilton Cake Pan   Plastic prehistoric animals can be added to any cake!   Note:  The Dimetrodon is eating the Xenacanth 8th birthday with neighbors and friends.  We also went outside on a "dig"   I am smiling so much because this was my 10th birthday and we celebrated it  AT the Houston Museum of Natural Science!! COSTUMES!!!!!        Jurassic Park Ranger    Even got my friends to dress up!    CLOTHES!!!! My mom made these.  I HAD to have a parasaurolophus on the front of mine.  It was my favorite dino at the time.

Girl Scouts Honored by Emerald Circle

I am in the back, 5th from the left. I am so pleased that The Emerald Circle liked my Gold Award Project that they awarded me a scholarship.  Even more meaningful is that I was selected to be one of the first five to be named a Goodykuntz Scholar.  The name is meant to honor Emerald Circle founder and past president Dorothy Goodykuntz, a long time GSSJC (Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council) supporter and volunteer.  We were recognized for our dedication to the Girl Scout Promise and our outstanding Gold Award Projects. I would like to thank the Emerald Circle very much for selecting me as a Goodykuntz Scholar!!   Vera Briggs, my Girl Scout Leader   http://resources.gssjc.org/Resources/EmeraldCircle/Newsletters/Spring%202014%20Newsletter.pdf
